What is Stainless Steel Seamless SCH10S Pipe?

Seamless pipes are generally used in pressure areas, in the piping systems of fire extinguishing installations, and pressure vessels. It is also used in hydraulic piping systems, machinery, and equipment moved by the pressure of oil. and also It is used in heating and cooling systems. For example, the use of seamless pipes is common in the construction of cooling devices. It is widely used in heat exchanger construction. It is used in the food industry to transfer fluids. We can say that stainless seamless pipes are pipes used mainly in high-engineering works. It is also used in nuclear power plants, chemical, and petrochemical industries.

In colloquial language, Stainless Steel seamless pipe is also called Stainless drawn pipe.

Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe

Stainless Seamless Pipes are more difficult to manufacture than welded pipes. There are production forms that require many processes. In fact, foreigners call this type of pipe "tube". Tube means that the pipe is not welded.
The production of stainless steel seamless pipes is a heated point close to its melting point. The slab material is removed in a yellow heated form.
Special machines are also drilled inside. It is produced by being drawn in different machines step by step after being drilled, forming, reheating, and inserting into different form machines, and cooling again and processing. The production of stainless seamless pipes emerges as a result of very different process applications.

The production norms of stainless seamless pipes are as follows
ASTM A312	It covers seamless, straight-seam welded, and heavily machined austenitic stainless steel tubing designed for high temperature and general corrosive service.
ASTM A358	It covers austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel pipe welded by electrical fusion.
ASTM A813	Two classes of seam-welded single or double welded austenitic steel pipe cover and alignment grades for high temperature and general corrosive service.
ASTM A814	It covers two grades of flanged and cold bending quality cold-worked straight-seam single or double welded austenitic steel pipe for high temperature and general corrosion.
ASTM A269	General Purpose Seamless and Welded Tube Manufacturing from Austenitic Stainless Steel Material
ASTM A213	In the manufacture of seamless ferritic and austenitic boilers, superheaters, and heat exchanger tubes
ASTM A669	Ferritic and Austenitic Seamless Duplex Stainless Tube Manufacturing.
ANSI 36.19 ANSI B 36.10	Stainless welded and seamless pipes SCH Seris

Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe Sizes

STD, XS ve XXS Farklı ağırlıktaki boruları ayırt etmek için üç uzun süredir kullanılan geleneksel isimler kullanılır:
• STD : standart duvar
• XS : ekstra güçlü duvar
• XXS : çift ekstra güçlü duvar
Son iki atama bazen ekstra ağır duvar (XH) ve çift ekstra ağır duvar (XXH) olarak adlandırılır.
