It is an industrial fastener that is used to connect or join two pipes. It is in the shape of a round disc. There are bolt holes on the edges. The main flange types are as follows

1. Stainless Steel Slip-On Flange; It is a connecting element used to connect or join two pipes together. There is a gasket step surface on one side of the flanges. While two flanges are connected to each other, gaskets are placed in between with bolts.
2. Stainless Steel Welding Neck Flange; Since the end of the flange to be welded is a bit long, that is, it is like a neck, it is called a necked flange. The installation continues by welding to the end of the pipe length.
3. Stainless Steel Blind Flange; as the name suggests, is a fitting derivative used to blind the pipe in the installation. There are side bolt holes. The inner hole part is closed.
4. Stainless Steel Loose Flange; is the flange used with the collar. It is called a loose flange because it moves freely around the stainless collar. This time the flange will be welded to the collar, not to the pipe. The Stainless Loose Flange is generally used in places that can be easily removed and installed.
5. Stainless Steel Screved Flange; It is a flange with a thread inside the flange. It is used to convert the gear to the installation or to the system from the gear.
6. Stainless Steel  ANSI Norm Flange; It is the American norm flange. Pressure class indicated as 150lb, 300lb.
7. Stainless Steel Pressed Loose Flange; It is used in areas with low pressure. It is manufactured from 3 mm sheet metal by pressing in a press.
8. Stainless Steel Spectacle Flange; It is a connection derivative placed between two flanges. It functions as a valve in the piping. The system is opened and closed by sliding left and right between the two flanges like the slide on itself.
9. Stainless Steel JIS Norm Flange; It is the Japanese Norm Flange and published by the Japanese Standards Association (JSA). The JIS Norm is like a standard flange. Gasket pressing surface is drowned directly on the base.
The pressure class is 5K and 10K. As the pressure increases, both the thickness increases, and the pressure class such as 20K and 40K increases. Like other Flanges, there are Slip-on, Welding Neck, Blind, Loose, and Pressed Loose Flange derivatives.

Quality standards are available in the market as AISI 304 / 304L, AISI 316 / 316L, EN1.4307, EN 1.4404. Usage Areas are used in pipelines, liquid, gas, and solid-fluid lines. In corrosive environments, places requiring hygiene or decorative purposes, mainly stainless fittings are used. In colloquial language, chrome flanges are also called plumbing materials. It is a fitting element used in heavy industries and areas with high pressure.
